Flaming River announces the new "Classic Series" keyed tilt steering columns

Flaming River Industries continues to steer enthusiasts in the right direction with state-of-the-art steering technology.  Introducing the "Classic Series" - an all-new line of tilt steering columns featuring an all-new GM ignition and key assembly.

This all-new ignition column features the mechanical, high-amp OEM switch.  The "Key At 3" (won't hit the knee) positioning is possible because of the all-new one piece casting design.  These columns will be popular with owners of classics, muscle cares, hot rods, Jeeps and trucks.  The new one-piece key assembly housing is not an "add-on" unit, and delivers both eye-appeal and user convenience.

The "Classic Series" Columns are completely "Made in the USA", featuring all-new components throughout, including the GM ignition switch and key assembly with the full function (Accessory, Off, On, Start) positions and standard GM plug module.  These columns also incorporate a high strength, all steel tilt shaft with Teflon coated bearings and the exclusive Tru-Torque locking system.  Each column carries the Flaming River 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.

The new tilt keyed columns are available as floor shift and column shift, using 2" dia. 304 Stainless tubing and are available in 28, 30, 32, 33 and 35 inch lengths.  The 0.080" 304 Stainless tubing is twice as strong as carbon steel.  Columns are available in mill finish (paintable), polished or in a black powder coat finish, and custom lengths are available.
