privacy. Following is a list of the information we request and
detail on how we use this information.
Checkout. We
ask for your name, address and contact information so we can send
you your order, and so we can contact you if we have any questions
about your order. We never share your name and address with other
companies. We do not rent, share or sell email addresses.
Security
At National Hot Rod Supply there is no
need to question the security of information transmitted over the
internet. Our secure servers fully encrypt sensitive data for safe,
trouble-free transactions. We utilize all of the latest security
methods and fraud detection techniques to protect any and all
information you entrust to us.
Credit card information transmitted online is encrypted while in
transit, so that even if the information is intercepted, because
it's encrypted, it is useless to a would be thief. Shopping online
with your credit card is safer than going to your local store or
restaurant.
National Hot Rod Supply utilizes the Secured Socket Layer (SSL)
protocol to insure the safety of your transaction.
Prices / Product
Although we make every effort to assure that our prices and
products are advertised as accurately as possible, we are only
human, and in the event an error is made, we reserve the right to
correct it, even after the sale. Picture are used for reference and
display propose only. Most part's are NOT painted and are shown with
full options not included in standard kits. Be sure of exactly what
you are ordering.
Sales Tax
National Hot Rod
Supply collects sales tax
on purchases shipped to California at the rate of 8.25%.
Shipping & Handling
National Hot Rod
Supply charges a flat
shipping and handling fee of $10.95 for each online purchase to anywhere in the 48
contiguous US states. Chassis's, Frames and complete rear
ends do
not ship for standard $10.95 handling fee. Please call or write for
a
shipping quote. Shipping charges to Hawaii, Alaska, and all APO addresses will be quoted for each specific order. Special handling
shipping fees will be actual cost for next day, 2nd day air etc. Call us or email
us for quotes.
National Hot Rod Supply adds a flat handling fee of $10.95 to each order
at time of check out.
International /Foreign
Shipping
Foreign / out of state customer status is applied to anyone outside
the U.S. or U.S. Territories. Since our toll-free phone number does
not apply to foreign countries, you can place your orders online,
fax them to us at (805) 658-1287, or call us directly at
805-654-8009. All foreign orders ship from our Ventura, CA. location
only. Product availability is determined by the inventory in the
Ventura, CA. location. All orders must be pre-paid and actual
shipping rates will be charged. Depending upon your location and
size of the order, different shipping methods are available. Ask
your salesperson for available options or fax us a shipping quote
request with all your parts and shipping address for an estimate.
Foreign customers should also be aware that if several items are
ordered and one is on backorder, the whole order will be placed on a
"Full Order Hold" until the backordered item arrives. We do this in
order to save the customer two separate shipping charges. If you
wish to have the available items shipped and are willing to pay the
separate charges, simply specify at the time you place your order
and we can accommodate your request. Hazardous materials cannot be
shipped to foreign customers at this time. All items entering a
foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment
of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws.
Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the merchandise
is dutiable and the value of the item is above the threshold set by
the country's laws. These charges are normally due at the time of
delivery, they are separate from the actual shipping charges
processed by National Hot Rod Supply.
